Foam vs Hybrid
Leesa’s 100% foam mattress is made up of different layers of polyurethane foam. Their 10″ all-foam mattress is made for the masses and doesn’t offer the personalized support that individual coils do, leading to inadequate foam distribution and more partner disturbances. They also spend a ton of your money on gimmicky advertisements. Or for an additional $500, Leesa will let you upgrade to their new queen 11″ Sapira hybrid that still misses in comparison to our 12″ hybrid. We perfected our hybrid design years before them, even when they were pleading to everyone that their all-foam design couldn’t be topped. Why did they feel the need to test out a new hybrid then? Because ours is better.
In comparison, our mattress is a revolutionary hybrid of graphite-infused memory foam and individually encased 4” coils. Our 4” coils respond individually to your movements through the night, offering superior support across your entire body. Because each coil is separately encased, our mattress gently responds to any change of sleeping position, seamlessly adjusting to the contours of your body no matter your age, weight or height. Our isolated motion technology also ensures partner disturbances are minimized.
Single vs Multi Firmness Options
Looking for a mattress that fits your sleeping preferences just right? Unfortunately, with the bigger brands such as Leesa, you’re out of luck. Leesa has focused their efforts on a single mattress, trying to balance everybody’s needs into one firmness. Because sleeping preferences are so personal, this just doesn’t work.
At Amore Beds, our vision when designing a mattress was to give as many people as possible the best sleep of their lives. We weren’t interested in taking any shortcuts, which is why we developed our mattress with three firmness options; soft, medium and firm. By having three firmness options, we’re able to effectively cater for all sleepers, further personalizing your sleeping experience.
To take things a step further, we’ve even developed a unique dual firmness mattress. Our dual firmness mattress is perfect for couples who sleep differently and want their mattress tailored to them. Hard / soft? Medium / hard? Medium / soft? The choice is yours. To find out what firmness would suit your needs best, take our handy quiz, available here. We even offer a dual firmness 2-sided flippable mattress if you just can’t decide on a firmness.

Performance Fabric Options:
At Amore, we believe the mattress you sleep on is only as good as the fabrics on top. That’s why we go for the best. Our mattress is topped with an organic wool layer, sourced directly from New Zealand. This sits nicely under our hypoallergenic organic cotton fabric. For those of you who are looking for a more healing sleep, we also offer a therapeutic, copper-ion infused bamboo fabric. Naturally anti-bacterial, copper is known to improve the appearance of skin and assists with your body’s natural healing processes.
Leesa? They offer a “Seamless Iconic Four-stripe Cover.” This is also one of those “sock” covers that slides over controversial fire-socks that are known for allergies, odors, and skin irritants. Why would you cover CertiPUR-US materials with a chemical firesock? We don’t; that sotra defeats the purpose of the certification, don’t ya think?
